Metal doesn't suck now. It's not happyfaggot like it was back in the 80s hair metal bullshit.
Rock music in general was never meant to be happy-go-lucky-for-all-ages. It was intended to be dark and controversial. If anything, the underground metal bands support that.
I'd be pissed as Hell if I turned the television on and saw a premiere for a new black metal band that I like get stripped off the air for something like Stryper or worse, some rap bullshit.
